“GLOBAL TRENDS 2060 – and why corporate HR needs to act now”

The World in 2060 will look quite different compared to today. After having achieved the 7th billion person living on our wonderful planet the coming 49 years will bring more growth: another 3 billion people will need additional food, water in drinking quality, energy, transportation, and ... income.

In some regions we already now are facing the “war for talents” – and companies need to be as close as possible to their customers.

An increasing population means: more potential customers. More mobility – more expats – more cultural developments.

However, globalization also will increase the challenge of governance AND compliance in terms of fair treatment cross-border as well as across generations. Income distribution will be a core element if we want to make 2060 happen without a destructive revolution.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will also need to cover the income of employees in subsidiaries abroad as well as for retirees.

Building-up retirement income without increasing total cost? Is it possible? Rüdiger will explain how this dilemma can be solved smoothly.

Rudiger Blaich, AEGON Global Pensions

Rüdiger Blaich has about 30 years of experience in employee benefits. After graduating in both Business Administration at the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences and Economics at the University of Konstanz, Rüdiger has worked in different countries and different branches in the world, like Mannesmann Group in South Africa, DEMAG Movicarga in Brazil, Volkswagen in Mexico.

He was working for Allianz Leben in Germany for almost 25 years before he had been appointed as Regional Director for AEGON Global Pensions in 2007, (headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands), responsible for the CEE region, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
